It is always my great pleasure to present you with the latest Posey catalog of products and solutions. Each year, as the catalog is being assembled, I am afforded the opportunity to reflect upon the company’s origins, examine where we are today, and look to the future needs of the medical community.
I am proud of the innovative work of the Posey team and the trust that our customers have placed in us by continuing to purchase Posey products. Over the past seventy-four years, we have been able to foster collaborative relationships with our customers. Our joint efforts have led to new and enhanced products and, in turn, better patient care. Today, more than ever, Posey is committed to working alongside our customers to provide products that fit specific needs and solutions that are tailored to specific settings.
Posey also recognizes and supports the importance of product education. Complimenting our efforts in the realm of education and compliance, Posey’s instant-reference chart, known as the Least-to-Most poster, has become a useful aid that many institutions have successfully implemented over the past few years. These posters are custom-created to assist your restraint reduction programs, in accordance with your policies and procedures. They are designed to provide a visual reminder of restraint alternatives that are available to your staff. The charts are color-coded to remind staff to continually work towards the least restrictive alternative. The inside front cover of this year’s catalog provides some ideas for products that you might want to include on a Least-To-Most poster. Your Posey representative will be happy to help you customize your own poster.
I would also like to highlight Posey’s fall management solutions designed to help reduce the risk of patient falls. These solutions feature a wide range of alarms, sensors and color-coded fall indicators. A product to look for in our line of wound management and heel offloading devices is the Posey PRO-heeLx (Cat. #6218), which lifts or FLOATS the heel 2 inches from the surface and assists with the prevention and treatment of heel pressure ulcers.
Your feedback is welcomed and encouraged. We remain, in your service.
