RECOMMENDED USE: Patients requiring posture support and/or inclined to slide forward.
The Posey Orthotic Seating System (OSS) offers a low cost solution when providing patient/resident posture support by transforming a standard wheelchair into a specialty chair. Fits most standard, nonreclining wheelchairs with detachable arm sockets located along the sides of the chair and 16” (41 cm) back height. Meets CA #117, Section E Flame Retardancy Standards.
- Contoured seat helps improve patient comfort.
- Offers up to 3½” (9 cm) of seat drop depending on wheelchair model to accommodate “foot peddlers”.
- Adjustable front and back mounting straps can create posterior/ anterior seat tilt.
- Removable, padded wipe-clean vinyl cover.
- Will accommodate pressure relieving cushions.
